# The desktop app is asking for permissions. What does each one do?

Accessibility, the microphone, and screen recording are required to record.

-   **Accessibility** finds the meeting and who is speaking.
    
-   **Microphone** records your voice.
    
-   **Screen recording** records the other people and the meeting video.
    
-   **Microsoft Teams** prepares Teams. Teams may restart once.
    
-   **Browser** prepares the browser for Google Meet. The browser may restart once.
    

Choose **Allow**, or **Open Settings** when macOS needs you to turn the permission on yourself. Then return to Reunia and continue.
