# Why is Ask not ready?

Ask has to finish indexing your meetings before the first question.

The first time you open Ask, choose **Start** and wait until indexing finishes. The page shows the progress. Questions sent before that are not kept.

If you have already used Ask and new meetings have arrived, choose **Update Ask**. You can keep chatting while that update runs.
