# Should I use the bot or the desktop app?

Use the bot for remote calls. Use the desktop app when nobody should see Reunia join.

Use the **meeting bot** for a remote meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams. It joins as a participant, so everyone can see it.

Use the **desktop app** when you are in the room, or when you do not want a bot in the call. It records from your computer.

You choose the default during setup. You can still paste a live Zoom, Meet, or Teams link from Home when you want the bot for one meeting.
